Morphology: A shrub of moderate size, about 18 m. Leaves are oblong to acuminate, coriaceous and the apex cuneate. Petiols 1 cm tall and peduncle 2 cm tall, the corolla red-yellowish in colour.
Ecology Distribution
Originated from India and Ceylon. Commonly cultivated widely in several varieties in Malay Peninsula gardens.
